Commission Framework

SMA operates a performance-based commission model designed to reward partners for introducing qualified clients while maintaining sustainable profitability. We reward both volume and quality. Commission percentages and thresholds will be reviewed periodically based on profitability and business objectives.

Service Referrals

  • Fixed percentage commission for one-time projects.
  • Recurring commission opportunities for retainer agreements.

Standard Project Referrals

  • For any projects, affiliates and referral partners will earn. In the case of recurring payment, they also get paid every month:

Strategic bonuses are determined at SMA's discretion.

  • 1–5 successful referrals annually.
  • Standard commission rates apply.
Tier 02

Growth Partner Tier

6–10 successful referrals annually.

  • Eligible for an additional 2% commission bonus on future deals.

Tier 03

High-value and consistent referrals.

  • More than 10 successful referrals annually or £20,000+ in referred revenue.

Referral Qualification Criteria

What makes a referral eligible

A referral will qualify only if:

  • The referrer introduces SMA to the prospect before any existing engagement.
  • The lead is submitted through the approved referral process.
  • The prospect is not already in SMA's CRM or active sales pipeline.
  • The prospect aligns with SMA's target market, services, and pricing structure.
  • The prospect converts into a paying client.

This ensures focus on high-quality opportunities and prevents duplicate claims.

Payout & Governance

Commission Payment Conditions

Commission payments are subject to the following conditions:

Payments are released only after the client has paid in full or completed the first three months of a retainer agreement.

Referral ownership is assigned to the first verified source.

03

Commission eligibility is forfeited if referral information is incomplete or submitted after initial engagement.

04

SMA reserves the right to apply commission caps for exceptionally large contracts to protect profitability.

05

Payouts are processed on a monthly or quarterly basis.
